Claremont Ave
A Family Home Reimagined by Callery Building
The Claremont Ave Project was more than just another build for us, it was a transformation of a beloved family home into a modern sanctuary, tailored to meet the evolving needs of a growing family.
Set in a quiet pocket of South Australia, this home had great bones but was in need of a major refresh. The owners loved their location and didn’t want to move, so we worked closely with them to reimagine the layout, improve flow, and bring in more light, all while preserving the sense of comfort and familiarity that made this house a home.
The Build
This was a full-scale renovation with a clear focus: enhance functionality without compromising on style. The original floor plan was reconfigured to create open living spaces that seamlessly connect the kitchen, dining, and outdoor entertaining areas.
We introduced new windows and doors to maximise natural light and improve connection to the backyard. The kitchen was rebuilt from the ground up with custom cabinetry, stone benchtops, and integrated appliances, all designed with family living in mind.
Bathrooms were completely overhauled with modern finishes, double vanities, and plenty of storage, a big upgrade from their original footprint. Every detail, from tiling to tap ware, was chosen for its durability and timeless look.
Challenges & Solutions
As with most renovation projects, we encountered a few surprises once we opened up the walls, but that’s where experience counts. Our team worked through structural updates and revelled areas of the existing slab to create a smooth, cohesive finish throughout the home.
A Team Effort
From the first walkthrough to the final handover, this build was a true collaboration between our team and the clients. Our shared vision, clear communication, and commitment to quality made all the difference.
For us at Callery Building, the Claremont Ave Project is the kind of work we love! Breathing new life into a family home and building something truly meaningful. The result is a warm, welcoming space designed to grow with the people who live in it.
